Why your own email address matters
Customers notice the email address on your van, your quote and your business card. A free webmail address can make a good firm look like a side project, while an address on your own domain looks established and matches your website. It also means your email belongs to your business rather than a free provider, and you can add addresses for staff, sales or accounts as you grow. For a new business, it is one of the cheapest ways to look like you have been around for years.
Set up on the devices you already use
You can read your email online through webmail from anywhere. We also help you get it working on your phone and in Outlook or other email programs, so quotes and enquiries reach you whether you are on a job in Burton Latimer, visiting a client on Moulton Park in Northampton or working from home in Desborough. Your inbox is generous, though not unlimited, so we suggest clearing out old emails now and then. If something stops syncing, you call the same person who set it up. Tell us which phone and which email program you use, and we will walk you through it on a quick call, or sit down with you face to face if you are local.
Moving your existing email
If you already have email on your domain somewhere else, we move it across when we take on your domain. Most people don’t lose any emails, but we recommend saving anything important first, as we can’t see how your current email is set up. There can be a short gap of between half a day and two days while the switch happens, and it is usually much shorter. We let you know before the switch starts, so you are not caught out in the middle of a busy day. Will I lose my old emails when you move my domain?

Can I have an email address for each member of staff?
Yes. Each package includes a set number of accounts, from 2 on our smallest package to 10 on our largest. Extra addresses are £5 a month plus VAT each.

Email comes with our website packages and with hosting only. If you just want email on your domain without a website from us, ask us and we will tell you what we can do.
