Upskillion is a public speaking and communication training business based in Rushden, run by Helen and her husband. They help professionals and business owners present with confidence and talk about their business clearly, through their Presentation Masterclass, UpSpeaking workshops and CPD support, and in 2026 they were named finalists in the Midlands StartUp Awards.
When Helen first got in touch, the Upskillion website was built on Wix. This is the story of why she moved, what we did, and what it means for her business now.
The problem with doing it all yourself
Wix is a perfectly good website builder, but it leaves you doing everything yourself. Every new course, every price change and every update to the website was Helen’s job, and when something did not work the way she expected, getting help meant email or a chat window and waiting for a reply from someone who did not know her business.
For a growing training business that is time Helen would much rather spend running courses, meeting clients and building Upskillion, not working out how to fix her website on an evening.
What we did
We took the Upskillion website over from Wix and built a new website designed around the business, on our pay monthly plan. That included:
