If you have a website but nobody to look after it, we take it over. We copy every page, image and file to our green hosting, move your email, protect your Google rankings and then look after it. You can move onto a pay monthly package from £34.99 a month plus VAT with your changes included, choose hosting only from £10 a month plus VAT, or keep your website where it is and pay for ad hoc work at £29.99 an hour plus VAT.

When people come to us

Usually something has gone wrong. The designer who built the site has retired, moved on or stopped answering emails. The login has been lost. Every small update comes with a bill, or the website was built by a friend years ago and nobody knows how it works. It happens everywhere, from a salon in Kettering town centre to a letting agent in Northampton’s Abington area or a small manufacturer on the Oakley Hay estate in Corby. Whoever built it, we take it on and you never have to chase anyone again.

How the move works

We start with a free call to look at your current website and hosting. If it can be moved as it is, we copy it across, move your email so nothing goes missing, and transfer your domain into your name if it isn’t already, for a £10 one-off fee plus VAT. We keep your page addresses or redirect them, then switch over only once everything has been checked, so your website stays live throughout. Not every website can be moved. Some website builders don’t allow it, and we will tell you straight away if yours needs rebuilding instead, in which case a website redesign is the better route.

Choose how much help you want

Most people move onto one of our pay monthly website packages, so hosting, email, updates and their changes are all covered in one price. If you are happy with your website and just want it hosted and kept safe, hosting only starts at £10 a month plus VAT, or £15 for 10 to 19 pages, with plugin updates and security patches included but no changes. And if your hosting is fine but you need someone to make changes, ad hoc work is £29.99 an hour, or £39.99 for two hours, plus VAT, with no contract.

My web designer has disappeared. Can you still take over my website?

Usually, yes. On a free call we look at what access you have to your website and domain, and tell you honestly what is possible. If it can’t be moved as it is, we can rebuild it for you instead.

How much does a website takeover cost?

Pay monthly packages start at £34.99 a month, hosting only is £10 a month or £15 for 10 to 19 pages, and moving your domain is a £10 one-off fee. Ad hoc work is £29.99 an hour. All prices are plus VAT.

Will my email stop working during the move?

We move your email across so nothing goes missing, but we recommend saving important emails first. There can be a short gap while the domain switches, between half a day and two days at most, and it is usually much shorter.

Can you take over a Wix or Squarespace website?

Some website builders don’t let you move a website away as it is. If yours is one of them, we will tell you on the free call and can rebuild it for you on one of our pay monthly packages.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Ad hoc work has no contract, you just pay for the time you need. Our pay monthly website packages are on a 12 month contract. We will go through the terms for each option on your free call.
